Personal Officer Down Memorials

A final act of respect. Never a sales pitch.

Thin Blue Line 29 creates personal memorial concepts for officers lost in the line of duty. Each memorial design is made for the affected agency at no design cost.

Our standard

We remember the life and the service—not the violence.

The design may reflect the officer’s agency, community, military or fire service, and the symbols that genuinely mattered. The incident, suspect, and sensational details never become the centerpiece.

01

Verified facts

Names, dates, badge numbers, agency details, and service history are checked against ODMP and reliable official records.

02

No design charge

The personal memorial design is created for the affected agency at no cost. The design itself is our contribution.

03

Private first

The concept is sent privately to the department. It is not presented as approved, advertised, or sold before authorization.

04

Family and agency led

Corrections, preferences, permissions, and any decision to display or produce the memorial belong to the family and agency.

Private by default

If you do not see a memorial here, the process is working.

A new concept remains private between Thin Blue Line 29, the affected department, and the officer’s family. A memorial will appear publicly only after an authorized family or agency representative approves it.

No approval means no public display and no production.

How each memorial is handled

Respect is built into every step.

  1. 1
    Identify and verify

We follow ODMP and confirm the officer’s service through reliable agency, association, family, or obituary records.

  2. 2
    Create with restraint

The artwork is personal to the officer and community. We do not dramatize the death or crowd the design with advertising.

  3. 3
    Present it privately

The affected agency receives the completed design at no charge and may decline it, correct it, or share it with the family.

  4. 4
    Wait for approval

Nothing is publicly displayed, produced, or offered until the family or agency authorizes the next step.

If a memorial is approved

Approved shirts support remembrance.

The officer’s immediate family is provided memorial shirts—including children’s sizes—at no cost, as our gesture of respect and remembrance.

Additional approved memorial shirts are offered at a reduced price. When a verified officer memorial fund exists, a stated portion of every shirt sale will be donated to that fund. The reduced shirt price, exact per-shirt contribution, and fund recipient will be confirmed with the family or agency and clearly identified before any orders open. If no verified fund exists, no fundraising claim will be made.

A personal statement

From Our Police Family to Yours

Thin Blue Line 29 is more than a business. It comes from a family that lived the job together.

Bob wore the badge, while Susan stood beside him as a cop’s wife. Nick grew up in a police family as a cop’s brother and now brings his creative vision to honoring those who serve. Bob and Susan were also blessed with daughters who grew up understanding the sacrifices and realities of police family life.

We understand that when an officer falls, the loss reaches far beyond the badge. It touches a spouse, daughters and sons, parents, siblings, friends, a department, and an entire community.

These memorials are our family’s way of standing beside another police family.
